40 Days of Prayer for America Initiatives
January 11-13, 2013: Weekend of Prayer for Human Trafficking![]() The National Weekend of Prayer is a Coalition of abolitionists and prayer leaders. The mission of the Weekend of Prayer is to mobilize prayer in America and to encourage awareness of the issue of human trafficking which is correctly called modern day slavery.
Theme: Anointed to Proclaim Freedom for the Captives. Scripture: Isaiah 61:1: “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners” (NIV) Human trafficking is the third largest crime in the world and one of the fastest growing. It consists of primarily labor trafficking and sex trafficking and it is a problem right here in America. Child sex trafficking is a terrible type of child abuse, The average age at which a girl enters prostitution in this country is fourteen and in some states it is as low as twelve. The stories of the survivors are horrific. In our opinion, God calls his people to lead efforts to eradicate this modern day slavery just as religious leaders in the nineteenth century led the fight to end slavery in their age. The Weekend of Prayer will be January 11-13, 2013. On January 11th there will be praying meetings facilitated throughout the nation and people will be encouraged to pray in their homes or work. In the evening of the 11th there will be several webcasts of prayer gatherings in several major cities. On Saturday, January 12th we are partnering with the "Prayer Surge NOW" on a nationwide morning Conference Call. Then on Sunday, January 13th we are encouraging congregations to say a prayer for the ending of modern day slavery in their community. We are prayerfully asking your organization to endorse and join us on this day. Saturday, November 17, 2012, 6:30 PM

The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem

Begun in 2002 in meetings with leading political and religious leaders from Israel and the United States, this is now the largest prayer movement of its kind, with over 1,200 key leaders within the Evangelical Christian world lending their active support. On the first Sunday of every October, hundreds of millions of people around the world join together to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. In just a few years, this event has quickly become the largest Israel-focused prayer event in history. Join us as we pray for the "apple of God's eye".
We will have the honor of leading a special time of prayer for Israel to start the Kingdom Word Power Spirit Conference at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, TX this Sunday with Dr. Dwight McKissic.

Join us on Prayer Mountain on Tuesday, Sept 11, 10AM-1PM

This is going to be a very special time of prayer for our nation and the Hispanic community. Many words have been spoken over the Hispanic community through the years. Together with our Anglo, African American and Asian brothers and sisters we are going to press into those words. We will also be taking communion together. The stage has been set for historic time of prayer! For more information click here.
Praying for our Teen Generation

On February 23, was Collegiate Day of Prayer, where took time to pray for God to visit our colleges and universities with revival. But we would like to bring to your attention our High Schools, even Elementary Schools. Not since the era of the shootings at Columbine High School, have we seen, that I can remember, so many shootings & killings in our secondary schools with our teens and, even, tweens. Our next generation is in need of our prayers. Even this past week, a 10 year old was killed at school. Even off campus some 12 & 14 year olds killed another teenager. We ask you to join with us in prayer for our youth like never before! If you are interested in being a part of a national prayer conference call on this subject. Email us at: info@hispanicprayernetwork.com and we will get you the information to join the call.
The United States & Mexico & The Southern Border
Let's continue to pray for US-Mexico relations as well as our Southern border. The HPN prayer net continues to expand across the border from Tijuana-San Diego, CA to Juarez-El Paso to Matamoros-Brownsville. We will be sharing more information on the developments soon.
In the meanwhile, one of the main areas of concern to keep in prayer is the gun and weapons trafficking that is happening and taking place. Part of the problem has been that our own government sanctioned a weapons program called "Fast & Furious." (Actually we believe that the exposure of that particular program was in direct response to the prayers of his people.) Still, we need more divine intervention, the problem is way too big to be dealt with by human means. With that in mind, when we are praying for revival in the United States, let's continue to pray for revival for our neighbor Mexico as well as our Border regions.
As we emphasized during the Cinco de Mayo Initiative, we are providentially joined together. Let's never forget that and keep praying for Mexico's breakthrough.

Special Prayer Alert for Dr. Billy Graham who was Hospitalized Wed.

Pneumonia-stricken Billy Graham showing improvement
Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 (Reuters) - Evangelist Billy Graham, who is battling pneumonia for the second time this year, is showing improvement at a North Carolina hospital, his doctor said on Friday.
"Mr. Graham has made good clinical progress in combating the pneumonia and he looks better," pulmonologist Dr. Mark Hellreich said in a statement.
Hellreich is treating the 93-year-old Graham, who has preached the Christian gospel to millions worldwide and given spiritual advice to numerous U.S. presidents, at Mission Hospital in the evangelist's home state of North Carolina.
No date has been set for Graham's discharge since he entered the Asheville hospital on Wednesday.
But in physical therapy, Graham was up and walking on Friday and he took his meals sitting in a chair by his bed while talking to hospital staff, according to the facility.

Cinco de Mayo Initiative that took place April 15-May 5, 2011

We continue to pray for the United States, Mexico and the Border. We must never forget what is going on our Southern Border. Even though, we received many breakthroughs during our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, leading up to the National Day of Prayer, we must remain on the wall of intercession continually. Thank you for all of your support and participation.
